I’m typically an introvert: shy, thoughtful and quiet. I come across as mysterious and exotic to most people. I love the feeling of serenity and calm. I don’t mind spending my time up in my room, listening to some relaxing music, reading a book or simply staring out the window, dreaming of the future. I'm generally the gentle, calm and kind one among my friends, but I can be a bit blunt and am a very determined (competitive even), smart and emotionally strong person. Basically, underestimating me is NOT a good idea and I'd never let anyone so much as think of taking advantage of me.

I'd do anything for my family and I love my friends to death. I'm pretty guarded to those who don't know me, but I'm very open once you've befriended me. I'm not nearly as cold or snobby as people who don't know me tend to assume. True I love the finer things in life, but my relationships matter more to me and I'd bend over backwards for the people closest to me. I *love* to laugh and I think I have a pretty decent sense of humour. I enjoy socialising with my friends in my spare time just as much as I enjoy spending time by myself reading.

I'm an optimist with high hopes for the future. I've always been a curious person by nature and I love to learn. I've excelled academically but I love reading up on various subjects as a hobby. I have a BA in Anthropology, and am currently doing an MA in Medical Anthropology which I'm very passionate about. Anthropology has warped my brain completely and a lot of my opinions may be against the norm but that's the curse of the eccentric Anth graduate and the reason we're essentially an endogomous group! So, academics makes up the core of my life now and I love it.

True to my Piscean nature, I'm a big dreamer and a lover of the arts. I'm creative and open-minded. I'm attracted to the beautiful and the mystical; whether it's in a sunset, a painting, a piece of music or in other people. I love all things ethereal and I have a great, inexplicable respect for the ocean. I've been a singer, dancer and musician since the age of four.
